Start your very own More Than a Club fundraiser to protect kids and families in Africa from malaria. Simply by playing soccer, you can make sure that kids in Africa are healthy enough to play, too! Ask your parents, friends, teachers, and neighbors to donate $1 for every game you play in during the Fall 2008 season. Participating players will be eligible to win great prizes!

Build a Team Form your More Than a Club team with members of your soccer team (or your whole team!) or even your soccer-playing friends on different teams. Encourage each other to get involved! Maximum 20 people on a team. Collect Sponsorships Ask your parents, family members, neighbors and teachers to sponsor $1 to fight malaria for every game you play this season. When you raise at least $10-enough for one life-saving bed net-you will be entered to win great prizes. Submit donations to Malaria No More by December 1, 2008. Play Soccer You, your teammates, and your coach can learn more about malaria together by doing fun soccer games at practice! Talk to your fans and other teams at your games! Remember, you don’t have to be an AYSO player to participate. Say Thank You  Don’t forget to write a thank you letter to everyone who made a donation. See the sample thank you letter in this packet for ideas on what to write. You can make the letter more personal by talking about why you think raising money for malaria is important, and giving an update on how your team is doing this season.

*Grand Prize* - Trip to Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain
The first two names drawn will win a four-day, three-night trip (with parent or guardian) to Barcelona, Spain, home of FC Barcelona. There, these lucky kids will meet with FCB youth academy players and attend an FC Barcelona game at the famous Camp Nou soccer stadium with AYSO National Coach John Ouellette.
